👋 A snappy quick intro about yourself?

Hi, I’m Rishit Patel, founder of aitools.fyi and many other internet products. Currently focused on changing how small businesses handle their finances via Invoice Mama.

🛠️ How does your AI tool stack look like?

I use A LOT of AI tools, and as the founder of one of the most popular AI tools directories in the world, I personally review a ton of products submitted to AI Tools. Many of them are one or two-time uses just from the review process. The tools I keep coming back to regularly are Cursor (for coding all my SaaS stuff), Claude AI online chat, OpenClaw (for social and coding automations), GitHub Copilot (for git automations), and some internal LLM-based tools I’ve built myself to automate research and run my directories.

🤯 What was your mind yelling at you when you first used AI Chat tools - ChatGPT/Gemini/Claude?

I actually used the models behind ChatGPT before ChatGPT even launched publicly. My mind was yelling “wow, I can write so many blog posts with this thing!” Funny enough, I didn’t even think about using it to generate code at the time! 😅

💡 3 key pointers of advice to budding internet businesses in your niche?

Ship as much as you code. Ship as much as you can. And honestly, just ship more and think less! 😅

⚙️ Which parts of your everyday workflows are now replaced by AI? How do you do it? (If you don’t have any setup yet, just let us know your future plans).

A huge chunk of my research is now fully automated via OpenClaw. I run a lot of directories, so I’ve built agents that scrape and collect data from across the internet and keep everything fresh and up to date automatically.

🔮 How do you think the AI landscape is gonna look 2 years from now? (Vibecoding, Claw-ness & what else?…)

More than 90% of my coding is already done by AI, though almost none of it happens without me in the loop. I think that changes soon and 90% of my coding workflow will be fully automated. Contrary to popular belief, I don’t think AGI will be achieved publicly by 2028, but a massive amount of media including short and long form video will be AI generated. You’ll also see AI quietly baked into everyday things like Netflix, non-Tesla cars, cooking appliances and more. Oh, and Twitter and Reddit? Their popularity will take a serious hit from AI content overload.

🎨 What are your fav hobbies, TV Series, Podcasts?

I love to travel, especially through rural Canada, there’s something special about it. For TV, I’m all about comfort comedies like Superstore, Parks and Rec, and Modern Family. Podcast wise, My First Million is my go-to, and I also really enjoy Greg Isenberg’s SIP podcast and the All In Pod. Special mention to my favorite non-business podcast, Bad Friends Pod!

Some humans you look up to!

First and foremost, my father and family. They paid for my Canadian education, visa, and honestly a whole lot more. I wouldn’t be here without them 😜. Then there’s Shaan Puri, host of My First Million, and yes, he follows me on Twitter which still feels cool. Elon Musk makes the list too, strictly for the business stuff and none of the political noise. And of course, indie hackers like Marc, Pieter, Jack Friks and the whole crew. I have so much love for indie hackers who just keep going, because at the end of the day, persistence really is the key to success.
